1. MidModMen + Friends
MidModMen + Friends is a unique furniture shop with restored mid-century and modern pieces, lighting, art, and accessories. They take high-quality furniture pieces and give them a new life with a twist. I love how they bring out the true beauty and wood grain in each piece.

2. Hennepin Made
A crew of artisans design, weld, blow, and everything at Hennepin Made. Each piece is one of a kind and created exclusively for each project. Their vertically integrated factory allows the proximity to address key issues immediately. From renewable energy and waste management to paying a living wage and creating green spaces, they are working hard to protect the environment and improve the community.

3. Mercury Mosaics
A space is only as good as the materials it’s made of. Handmade tile makes all the difference, with subtle variations and textures that a machine could never pull off. Whether it’s flooring, walls, a kitchen backsplash, a fireplace, or a space where you simply want to make a statement, their analog process is reflected in every square inch of each pattern.
Their Minneapolis production facility is more like an artist’s workshop than a factory. You will not find these distinctive colors and textures anywhere else. Visit their website.

4. WD Flooring
WD Flooring sources wood for their clients from tens of thousands of sustainable forests in Laona, WI. They have a wide variety of products, and you can choose to have your floor finished on the job site or prefinished. Either way, their incredibly durable plant-based finish far exceeds anything we have ever seen. We use their products in our residential and commercial projects; both wear beautifully and can be touched up in less than ten minutes by the end-user—no need to have a professional stop by.
The founder of WD Flooring led the sustainable forestry practice, which began in the early 1900s and is in the Forestry Hall of Fame.

5. Wood From The Hood
Wood From The Hood offers custom wood furniture fabrication services and collaborates with clients to create beautiful quality-made hardwood products from fallen salvaged trees in Minneapolis and St. Paul neighborhoods. They specialize in various products, including natural, live-edge custom furniture, tables of all sizes, benches, bars and counters, cabinets, countertops, and fixtures.
